Currently, Chad Ehrnsberger is a professional baseball player and starting 3rd Baseman with the Joliet Jackhammers of the Northern League. A graduate of the Ohio State University, Chad played on the top-ranked baseball squad, being named a College All-American for four consective years and also a First team Academic All-American. During his 5 professional seasons, Chad has a career hitting average of .300 and has been named to his league's All Star Team three times. The 2005 Northern League batting champion, he also has played in Mariners and Cardinals organizations at the AA level.
Chad Ehrnsberger is Slam's Pro-level hitting instructor, who works with serious prospects age 12 and up who may go through the showcase, college recruitment or pro draft process. His unique perspective as an active player, combined with his experiences with D-I college recruitment, make him a valuable addition to Slam.

Coach Adam O’Reel
Currently, Coach O’Reel serves as a hitting coach for the potent Romeoville High School Varsity team and North Central College in Naperville.
A former Providence High School standout in baseball and football, O’Reel played 4 years of college baseball. Prior to hanging up his cleats for a career in education, Coach O’Reel played 2 years of professional baseball.
Coach O’Reel is Slam’s power hitting guru, working with players from youth leagues through draft eligible. He teaches the ‘West Coast Style’ of hitting that maximizes power and sight time for hitters. |

Coach Jonathon Gordon
Currently, Coach Gordon serves as a pitching coach for the Romeoville High School Varsity team and also is head coach at Kelvin Grove in Lockport.
A student of developing correct pitching mechanics, Coach Gordon works with his pitchers to develop greater control, while building velocity.
Gordon was a standout pitcher at Palatine High School and considered offers from Division 1 colleges to play baseball before accepting an academic scholarship at the University of Illinois. Once he graduated, he quickly got back into baseball as a pitching coach at Kaneland High School. |

Coach Terry Piazza
Currently the head varsity coach at Joliet Township High School, Coach Piazza returned to take control of his Alma Mater, after a successful college career. Coach Piazza brings intensity to his lessons that brings out the success in his students and players.
His knowledge of baseball—the mechanics, mental aspects and tools needed for success—is unmatched by nearly all of his peers. Coach Piazza is Slam’s senior instructor who teaches catching, hitting and fielding. |

Coach John Karczewski
Currently, Coach Karczewski (or ‘Karch” to pretty much everyone who knows him) is the pitching and catching coach for Joliet Township High School’s Varsity baseball team.
A former Coal City High School standout, Karch was a starting college baseball pitcher under the renowned coach Wayne King at JJC. Presently, Karch is working towards his Masters Degree in Education.
Coach Karczewski is Slam’s senior instructor working with players from youth leagues through draft eligible. He teaches pitching, catching and hitting. A student of the mental game of baseball, Karch’s rapport with players and students allows him to push them to greater achievement. |

Mary Pat Cummings
Currently, Mary Pat Cummings is a starting pitcher at Aurora University.
She was heavily recruited after an all-conference career at the respected Joliet Township Softball program.
Cummings is a disciplined pitcher who brings the same intensity that drives her to success in games to her lessons in pitching. Studying to be a teacher, Cummings possesses an amazing ability to communicate with her softball students. |
